CITCEM – CENTRO DE INVESTIGAÇÃO TRANSDISCIPLINAR «CULTURA, ESPAÇO E MEMÓRIA» O CITCEM - Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar «Cultura, Espaço e Memória» (Referência FCT: uID 04059) é uma Unidade de I&D sem personalidade jurídica e sem fins lucrativos, reconhecida e financiada pela FCT, vocacionada para a investigação no domínio das Humanidades, em especial nas áreas da História, Arqueologia, História da Arte, Estudos Culturais e Literários, Museologia, Demografia Histórica, mas alargando-se também a outras áreas das Ciências Sociais.O CITCEM agrega, actualmente, mais de três centenas de investigadores. CITCEM - Transdisciplinary "Culture, Space and Memory" Research Centre (FCT Reference: uID 04059) is a non-profit R&D Unit without legal personality, recognised and financed by FCT. While its purpose is to promote research in the field of the Humanities, in particular in the areas of History, Archaeology, Art History, Cultural and Literary Studies, Museology, and Historical Demography, it also covers other areas of the Social Sciences. DEPARTAMENTO DE CIÊNCIAS E TÉCNICAS DO PATRIMÓNIO – FLUP O Departamento de Ciências e Técnicas do Património, criado 1997, foi o primeiro organismo desta índole a constituir-se na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. O DCTP reúne diversas áreas das Ciências do Património (Arqueologia, História da Arte e Museologia), quer na vertente de oferta formativa, quer ao nível da investigação científica, congregando atualmente 18 docentes.
The Department of Heritage Studies, founded in 1997, was the first organism of this kind to constitute itself at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. The DCTP gathers several areas among the Heritage Sciences (Archeology, History of Art and Museology), covering both the training offer as well as the scientific research, congregating 18 teachers.
